At 15 years of age, Alfred isn't your typical blond boy. It's true that he may not be the brightest in all subjects, but he makes up for it in terms of his optimistic, bubbly personality, curiosity and willingness to learn new things. He currently resides with his mother, Allysa and his step-brother, Matthew (who occasionally travels to Canada to live with his parents) in the States. He usually wears graphic tees and jeans, not caring much for his wardrobe. The youth also has sandy blond hair that reaches just up to his neck-chin area, with a little cowlick protruding from atop his head. In addition, Alfred has rainbow coloured braces (which he pestered his mother on countless occasions to get for him- she only did so because he promised to shut up and do his chores for a month), many freckles and thick, pink rimmed glasses, a very "dorky" look.
While it's true that this guy is a happy-go-lucky person who seems to embrace life, he does have occasional depression periods, in which he refuses to go out or talk to anyone. There have been many times where he contemplated or attempted suicide, but he tries not to think of it. Alfred doesn't get bullied, but he does get picked on by some kids at his school. He however, dismisses it off as merely playful banter. He doesn't have a lot of friends.

"Well, well, well, if it young, American, and dorky." He chuckles in a well-intended way, rustling the boy's hair. "How're you doing, Alfred? Good, I hope?"
- Giving a small hum in reply, the youth rocked back and forth on his heels. "Yep~" he chirped merrily, "I've been doing really well! And how about you~?"
